About
Founded in 1982, the Rivière-des-Prairies Volunteer Action Centre is a committed community player. For over 40 years, it has mobilized the community's vital forces to meet the needs of vulnerable people, particularly seniors, families, and isolated individuals.
Born from a civic desire to build a more united community, the Center has grown alongside its neighborhood. Today, it brings together hundreds of volunteers of all ages each year, all motivated by a shared desire: to make a difference, here and now.
With passion and humanity, the Center pursues its mission of mutual aid, proximity and hope.

Every person can make a difference, bring about change and create a positive impact in society.
